The Timothy Library

As an Institute dedicated to equipping and empowering urban church leaders, the Timothy Library offers a way of resourcing urban pastors, Christian leaders, missionaries, and others with relevant books and materials that will aid them in their theological training. It is a place where students of the
Word are connected with the tools they need to uncover God's timely truths and where leaders gather for the purpose of scholarship.

The Timothy Library has hundreds of commentaries, Bible resources, and books available that cover a wide range of theological and Christian living topics.

The Timothy Library is located on the first floor of the World Impact Watson Administrative Building (south corner of Vermont Ave. and 20th Street).

YES! The Timothy Library does accept donations.

  • Donated books must be in good condition with no writing or marks on the cover or inside pages.

  • Donated Blu-Rays/DVDs should have minimal scratches.

  • To donate an item, please schedule a drop-off time with our TUMI-LA staff by emailing us.

  • All donations are income tax deductible.

Checking Materials Out

A maximum of Three items* may be checked out from the library at any one time.

  • Books will be loaned out for a 14-day period and are renewable for up to one-time.

  • DVDs will be loaned out for a 7-day period and are not renewable.

Returning Materials

All items should be returned during normal business hours and placed in the library's return box (located under the check-out computer kiosk).

Late Fees

  • Late fees will be assessed at the rate of 50 cents per day up to a maximum of $25.00.

  • Payments for late fees can be made with any TUMI-LA staff member.

  • No books may be checked out when a patron has outstanding late fees.

Reference Books

Reference books are not available for check-out and may be used only within the Timothy Library or TUMI-LA classrooms areas.

Library Privileges

Any patron who fails to follow Library policies may have his or her library privileges revoked after due warning.


*The number of books and DVDs allowed to be check-out, along with the loan period, may differ depending on patron type. Check with a TUMI-LA staff member if you are uncertain about your library privileges.

Your new library card will allow you to check out resources and materials from the Timothy Library!
Obtaining a library card is quick and easy! Apply in person at our TUMI-LA Offices with a Photo ID (such as a driver's license or CA ID) or fill out our online request form.

When your request is submitted and processed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail or phone call within 5-7 business days from TUMI-LA letting you know that your new library card is available and ready to be picked up.

Your first card is FREE. Replacements for lost, stolen, or damaged cards are $2.00.
